Job Description
About the Role We are looking for a ROM Loader Operator to join the team on site working on 7 days, 7 nights, 7 off roster. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of loader equipment to manage ore feed to the processing plant at the Three Mile Hill gold operation.
Key Responsibilities
Operate front-end loader to safely and efficiently feed the ROM pad and crushing circuit.
Maintain consistent ore feed rates in line with plant requirements and supervisor direction.
Manage ROM stockpiles, including blending, segregation, and stockpile control.
Conduct pre-start inspections and ensure equipment is safe and fit for operation.
Monitor equipment condition and report defects, faults, or maintenance requirements.
Work closely with Supervisors and Metallurgists to ensure correct ore feed and blending strategies.
Maintain awareness of ore types, grades, and stockpile locations.
Assist with clearing blockages and supporting crushing circuit operations as required.
Ensure safe operation around personnel, fixed plant, and other mobile equipment.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping around the ROM pad and work areas.
Identify and report hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Follow site procedures, safe work instructions, and environmental requirements.
Record operational activities and production data as required.
Participate in pre-start meetings and contribute to safety discussions.
Assist with other operational duties as required.
About You
Experience operating loaders in a mining or processing environment.
Basic knowledge of crushing circuits and ore feed requirements.
WA HR Rigid Truck Licence (Watercart).
Knowledge of operating an Excavator and Grader (desirable).
Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights (advantageous).
Valid C class Australian driver’s licence.
Demonstrated ability to operate mobile equipment safely.
