Job Description
About the Role We’re seeking a qualified Auto Electrician to join our safety-focused and high-performing maintenance team on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie. In this role, you’ll be responsible for carrying out planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance across a fleet of heavy mobile equipment, ensuring reliability and minimal downtime in a mining environment.
Key Responsibilities
Work safely at all times and adhere to company policies and site procedures.
Maintain high-quality maintenance standards across all equipment.
Diagnose, fault-find, and repair electrical issues on heavy mobile equipment.
Interpret OEM schematics and technical documentation.
Maintain accurate work orders, service records, and defect reports.
Identify and contribute to continuous improvement opportunities.
Equipment & Systems You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing:
Wiring harnesses, sensors, and control systems
OEM electrical systems (e.g. CAT, Komatsu, XCMG)
Safety, lighting, and communication systems
About You
Australian recognised Auto Electrical Trade Qualification.
Air Conditioning Ticket (essential).
Minimum 3 years’ post-trade experience on heavy mobile equipment.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Current Australian C Class Manual Driver’s Licence (HR desirable).
To be eligible for consideration all applicants must hold appropriate work rights to work in Australia and be willing to undertake the necessary pre-employment checks which will include a medical and a National Police Check.
