Job Description
About the Role
We are currently seeking skilled and motivated HD Fitter - Leading Hands to support our Mobile Equipment Maintenance team on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off FIFO roster. The role is hands-on and requires someone who can lead daily maintenance activities, drive safety standards, and assist in coordinating the team to deliver reliable fleet performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support a team of trades in day-to-day maintenance and breakdown tasks.
Assist with planning, prioritising, and coordinating maintenance activities.
Provide technical guidance and ensure safe, efficient work practices.
Maintain accurate records and support compliance with site maintenance systems.
Work on a mixed fleet of XCMG and CAT mobile equipment.
Qualifications and Experiencerequired:
Relevant Trade Certificate in Heavy Diesel or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a qualified Trades Person.
Knowledge and versatility across a variety of equipment, with experience in diagnosis essential.
Thorough understanding of Work Management - Ideally using Pronto.
Adaptability is essential to the success of the position.
Current WA Manual Drivers Licence.
Highly motivated and the ability to work independently.
Strong focus on safety.
